Information on engine damage form the ct12a blowing has been very difficult to find on the internet and would love if you could link me with what you have.
It has been a few months since I have been running more than 14psi on the twins, they maybe taken off even before they blow which I expect them to do mostly because of their age. I have left the exhaust un-muted for their longevity. In an earlier post I point to the new thinking that besides old age, exhaust back pressure is one of the leading contributors to their demise along with a few other misconception.

I remember I used to pass that car in corners, but I am sure the current owner has done some tweaking.

I don't know about the 1J sounding like a 2j. They sound completely different.

That would most likely still be the case Robby. I don't think I have that amount of guts like you and the former owner. Would need to learn to slide the car to really keep up.
Mod to suspension, tiens basic,Jza80 strut tower brace and just the maintenance on the steering which was very shoot when i got it.
Later will look at JZ80 sway bars stock or aftermarket not sure as yet.

I would do megans. Heard only good things and are well priced. They are also damper adjustable

Already have these on the car, but if I change these will certainly look into one with dampening adjustment.

That's a totally different answer....lol. Are the basics blown or just want to try something new or upgrade?
