No it doesn't pass emissions. I have not cats and I'm missing 3 out of the 4 O2 sensors.Preppy wrote:Does it pass emissions? Didnt like those rims at first but those pics has changed my mind. nice stuff

You can have a 3"cat installed but the rest will have to depend on tuning, but do you need to pass emissions?

He lives in ny. He's required to eventually. There may be ways around the missing O2s

How's the stock transmission holding up and are you gonna change it up? TH400? I know there is some weak link to do with the A650e and 3rd gear IIRC.

Re: Project Aristo
I'm actually thinking of doing a 5 speed swap in the winter. My machanic is trying to convince me to do it now because he says it's a 1 day project. I'm not going to do anything else for the summer. Later this year I'll switch to a full standalone so I can raise the boost to 18-20 psi and either a built auto or 5 speed swap.Preppy wrote:How's the stock transmission holding up and are you gonna change it up? Turbo 350s and 400s are not exactly the most streetable in performance applications. The 5sp swap is getting more popular as time goes by; R154 or V160.

I'd go R154, W58 isn't a bad choice either.
