Re: Project Aristo
So I finally went to the dyno. My car was street tuned after the turbo project was done last June so until now I never had official hp numbers.

Some videos.............

Final numbers 376whp 348tq @ 12psi (low boost for now) 93 octane pump gas.

Could you also elaborate on the method used, example what gear you were in and if you had OD on or off. As Sci said a photo of the complete graph will provide a lot more details, also could you enlighten us on fuel type use (ron count) and your A/F Ratio.

The dip in the graph are in between shifts. My car doesn't have a switch for OD. The traction control was off and like I posted before this is on 93 octane pump gas (unleaded). A/F ratios are something like this.......... idle 13.3- 14.0, cruising in the highway no boost 14.2-15.5, under boost 11.5-12.5 if that helps.

Nice power figure especially on the fuel you running I would venture great, only concerned is about knock noting that you only using a fuel computer, my only piece of advise would be to look into a computer/piggy back which would give you the ability to control timing as well, it should make a great difference to the overall engine performance as well as prolong the life span of the motor. The general rule of thumb is that 1 degree of timing is equal to 4whp.
Do you have a graph which gives the rpm against torque and horsepower? Such map help you evaluate the tune/engine performance with a lot more details
Thanks for the info you shared.

Pretty good numbers on a 62 at just 12psi, very encouraging. What rpm is full boost? Also wonder how would the brian crowers affect the power band

Yeah I'm thinking of switching to a full standalone but the car is going to the bodyshop first. Time for spring cleaning. I only have this one graph although i prefer the RPM graph myself.Sikes wrote:Nice power figure especially on the fuel you running I would venture great, only concerned is about knock noting that you only using a fuel computer, my only piece of advise would be to look into a computer/piggy back which would give you the ability to control timing as well, it should make a great difference to the overall engine performance as well as prolong the life span of the motor.
