Got a few goodies in this month. May not look like much.. but they cost a good bit. Perma cool fans rated at 2300 cfm each, Perma cool adjustable fan controller, Genuine Toyota 2jz-gte none hydrolic pump. Oh not pictured here, I also got a blitz radiator cap. Good for additional 5 hp [hypocrite] .. lol.. I gonna fabricate my own shroud..

Hope you got the timing belt, front seals, thermostat and thermostat gasket. Doesn't make sense to do a water pump without doing these other items. Trust me I just did mine on Monday.

Unfortunately no, I know just changing the water pump would mean I got to remove everything... But still not ready to do that overhauling. Just to much missing parts. Plus.. we don't really need a thermostat in Dominica [angel] .. hehe

I got all the O-rings/seals etc.

I will do the overhauling soon after the car is on the road. I have gotten use to the bruises ... and stress on a weekly basis.. so when i revert to my normal lifestyle.. doing this would be nothing... that would be to change the timing belt and anything else in its department. The single most important thing I haven't got yet.

Oh forget to mention get the idler pulley. No one had one instock and I chanced it, and its making noise now.

Hey the seals are not expensive...do yourself a favour do it all at once. Oil leak = low oil levels = constantly buying oil = blown motor or turbo.

Once again, the thermostat is important....think fuel consumption. Buy factory item.

Drive the car for a while, make sure the engine is running good, say 3000 miles at least ,whatever suits your fancy and budget. Just make sure you change the oil at least and filter. Run it like that for a while. Just inspect hoses, I changed my radiator hoses, and heater hoses only because they were cut and felt a bit soft in certain spots. That can pop and cause overheating and boom. Run it first before you go crazy with it. Make sure its tight and worth servicing cause my gosh it would suck to go through all that and then the engine has a problem. I am leaving all the tuneups and servicing for when the car is proper then I'll do timing belt and so on.

That was the plan. On that note I should indicate.. Financier of this project and the "global economic down turn" hahah.. just wanted say that.. anyways.. I am going to slash cost in a few area's... this of course would allow me to bring the car out sooner (hopefully) and allow me to gain back some "returns" on my investment so far... also decide whether or not its worth spending more on Delilia.. now way above 25 G's.. bliv it or not.

Cost slashing were in these area's:

1. raw hid leather yellow ring steering wheel with carbon fibre and aluminum quick release.. now replaced with a stock supra steering wheel.. cha ching.

2. Custom stainless steal exhuast... now replaced with .. well aluminumised steal which can be found at your local dealler ... cha cha cha ching.

3. Greddy Auto turbo timer.. now replaced with what came with the car.. ulgy.. but works.. Greddy. Cha ching.

4. Back and forth on the guages.... hmm not decided yet.

All of my dream parts will most likely be placed on the car after it runs and proves itself worthy!.. For now.. Delilia got to work her lil toosh off to prove herself worthy. Estimated road date will remain June 1st 2009.. Now its just realistic and not optimistic.
