Re: Project ST205
Start by cleaning the engine bay and fing any leaks. Last thing you need is a vacuum leak that you can't find. Rubber doesn't leak like oily liquids, especially ps fluid.
Check engine and tranny mounts.....could be the cause of dash vibration. Then suspension, clutch and then turbo.

Re: Project ST205
opened up the hood and removed the down pipe from the turbo to inspect teh waistegate.
teh waistegate is fine but the turbine wheel on the turbo is,, well lets say it kinda missin some teeth.
ill post a pic of it soon....
going to pick up a CT26 turbine wheel tomorrow and hopefully pop it in at the end of the day..
got to pick up some degreaser and lock tight fluid for the tightening of bolts and nuts all over the car.
also may jus take the moment to spray up the down pipe and turbo in flat black to dispurse the heat a lil and
make teh parts look good to the eye.
thinkin of removin that huge 4 inch fmic though

Re: Project ST205
why not just put the turbo on instead of pulling it apart?
