Onlydominican.com Guidelines
General Forum and Chat room Behaviour
* Please refrain from posting in all-caps since this is considered as shouting, based on internet etiquette.
* Heated discussions are permissible, however, keep it under control at all times.
* Onlydominican.com uses language filters, however, excessive use of profanity will be dealt with.
* Do not post about illegal road use (if any). Onlydominican.com does not promote illegal use of public roads (see Declaration at the top of your screen).
* No (intentional) duplicate posts or topics. Duplicate posts and topics will be deleted.
* Do not instigate fights. Do not intentionally start antagonistic or inflammatory threads directed at another member.
* Do not post complaints regarding members of Onlydominican.com's. E-mail or instant message an Administrator.
Usernames and Display Names
You are free to choose and edit your display name on Onlydominican.com as often as you like provided it conforms to the following guidelines:
* No profanity either exact or implied.
* No sexually lewd/derogatory terms either exact or implied.
* No Religious attachs either exact or implied.
* No racially derogatory names either exact or implied.
* Not excessively long. Keep it to 25 characters or less.
Administrators reserve the right to alter the name and/or ban you without prior notice. If you are found to have created a display name with the express intent of mocking/mimicking/harassing a specific member, both the mimicked account and your real account will be banned. The aforementioned guidelines also apply to the chat room.
Avatar and Image Guidelines
You may use any avatar, or post any image that does not fall under any of the following categories:
* Sexually Explicit/Pornography (Clothed or not).
* Nudity (regardless of whether private parts are shown or not).
* Figures in a sexual or "prone" position (clothed or not).
* Images that show private parts through clothing (for example, wet t-shirt pictures).
* Images that are racially, politically or religiously offensive.
* Images that contain vulgar or profane language.
Keep all avatars 200 pixels and less in width. Keep all attached images to 500 pixels and less in width. The Administrators also reserve the right to rule on any avatar or attached image in a case-by-case manner. The above is a minimum acceptable set of guidelines to follow. Images that fall under any of the above categories are not appropriate for a public environment. Administrators may remove avatars, with or without warning. Administrators may also ban members who disregard the avatar guidelines after their initial warning. If you are not sure about the appropriateness of an avatar, please contact an Administrator or Moderator.
Forum Spamming
Forum spamming is:
* Posting of links/ads/images in multiple boards, or in the chat room, for the purpose of promoting or selling products/services/websites not associated with Onlydominican.com or its owners.
* Posting nonsense responses to every thread in a board in a rapid fashion.
* Posts which contain no relevant contribution to the thread, topic, or Onlydominican.com.
* Posting responses to a thread for the sole purpose of boosting post count.
* Posting derogatory and/or one (1) word answers to a topic as well as posting with emoticons only.
* Posts or topics that are meaningless and lack the ability to provide thought-provocative responses.
Please Note:
If a user feels that an action was unjust, the user is encouraged to first contact the Moderator who assessed the violation. Users can also E-mail or IM an Administrator.
