Introduction
It is safe to say that the Annual Kaboway Festival Organized by the Saint Mary's Primary is becoming an increasingly popular event for families island wide. The Event made its debut in 2006, and has proved that there is a lot of hidden talent and creativity around the Island.
The Festival is geared towards keeping the youth aware of their culture and not allowing them to become engulfed by the modern technologies of today such as video game systems; like the Sony Play stations and Xbox for example .While it is not as popular and vastly advertised like other national events, it has definitely proved that family time is still the number one priority.

Children and even Adults were showing off their wheels to the public on a makeshift highway located in the center portion of the Botanical Gardens. There were several different shapes and sizes of Kaboways, each displaying its own individuality and style as you will see in the pictures below.
The future of the Festival is uncertain, but with a few sponsors it is believed that the Kaboway Festival will quickly become a popular event drawing more and more spectators each year. This means that we must keep the youth of today close to their culture so that the tradition will thrive in years to come.
